He has semi-retired from the Standard Shop Environment , and is working for himself as Doctor-D. He holds a Mobile Repair License and is able to help customers with all auto repair needs either on location, or at his residence.

I am staying active as I genuinely love what I do, AND , I understand the costs people are getting charged as well as the "fraud" I see.

I am not looking to "grow" my business and get rich, I just want enough to do, and have purpose. I have a cap and a limit as to what I can and will do. I strongly advise you to establish a relationship if you are new, because there are times I quit excepting NEW customers!

I am Russell Dehart, I started my career at the Sunset Automotive Dealer Group from in 1989 with Cadillac. And I Ended as the Shop Foreman for the Saturn Franchise in 2001.

Then I opened up my own Shop as, Doctor-D, With Locations on Fruitville & I-75 and then Cattleman Rd, then finally In Gulf Gate at the Shell Gas Station. We serviced Sarasota resident cars from 2000-2018 until I was retired in-voluntary due to a vehicle accident and health issues. I helped many people in Sarasota , with Honest repairs and Fair pricing. I was out of service for several years recovering from my accident/ health issues. And today, I have re-licensed myself under the mobile auto repair to continue my work in a more relaxed fashion..

My focus is on Electronics and diagnostic. I can make keys and am a certified Automotive Locksmith. I can program new Keyfobs, and remotes. I specialize in Check engine lights and drivability issues that other shops have been unable to fix. Tune-up issues. I can do brakes, A/C work, Belts, Maintenance, Used Car Inspections, ect...
